There is a common misconception that if you simply train and work out more and more and more, you’ll get better results, quicker. In reality, nothing could be further from the truth.

Why? Because a critical part of getting results, including muscle growth is … rest!

Sure, some days when you’re tired and sore, you can push through. Eventually though, your body’s going to hit a wall. And when it does, the muscle growth process will actually stop. At a minimum, you won’t see any positive results. And, potentially, you may be setting yourself up for serious injury. Balance is the key!

Including ‘time off’ as part of your routine and getting enough sleep is extremely important for success in stamina and growth! As much as humanly possible, always get between seven and eight hours of quality sleep every night.
