If you are looking to achieve maximum muscle growth, keep in mind these basics of the process. Really, there are just three four steps to achieving larger, stronger muscles.

The first step is going to the gym and training. Strength training actually breaks down the muscle. Once you’ve broken down the muscle, your body is depleted of nutrients.

The second step, immediately after training, is to replace those depleted nutrients. Get a protein shake or a meal so the recovery process can begin.

The last step is rest. Your muscles don’t grow in the gym, they break down. So once you’ve broken down muscle and eaten, it’s time to rest. During the rest process, your muscles begin to grow back, larger and stronger, so they can avoid being broken down in the gym next time.

  1. Train 
  2. Eat 
  3. Rest
  4. Repeat! 🙂
